Halo Hardware LLC was established in 2004 while carpooling to a women’s hockey tournament. As owners, we – A.J. Cargill and Pam Coleman – believe in the spirit of sport. However, we also believe feminine qualities must prevail. That’s when we came up with the slogan, “If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good!” And Halo’s mission came together as a way to show the world our sparkle while showing our competitive side at play.

A.J. and Pam met while playing on the Jackson Hole Women’s Hockey Team. Both women migrated west after being raised in Michigan. A.J.’s parents moved the family west while she was still in high school, where she attended Wood River High in Hailey, Idaho and began competitive ski racing. Pam, on the other hand was working her way up the ranks of the figure skating amateurs. Both young women proved themselves worthy of notice in their respective pursuits, with A.J. earning a World Championship title of Freeskiing in 1997. In 2004, when the two met while vying for the coveted spot of starting center, an instant bond formed and A.J. mentioned her idea of putting rhinestones and ski pants together. From this seed evolved the idea of ski hats with rhinestone embellishments. The company has been successfully producing and selling Halo products in the Jackson Hole area for years.
